I swear no matter what I'm going through, this song can put me in a fantastic mood.

Pink & Chic - This week's newsletter
I had the pleasure of writing this week's newsletter for Pink & Chic Communication. It was my first attempt, so be kind :) The theme is Electric Blue and features all of our clients.[These particular photos were not taken by me and are only meant to give a visual]
Winter is finally
coming to a halt and spring is gradually inching closer. What better way to
start the season off than by wearing the animated shade of electric blue? It’s time to offset that lackluster mindset
and exude vibrancy. Here are some suggestions in order to add liveliness to your
wardrobe for this spring.
A bright, floral
print 3 quarter length sleeve by Guhlan Ozer.
A strapless, tube
dress with a stunning peacock feather print by Laura
Mancini
A
loose, flowing shirt that ties at the waist, by Melys is the idyllic for woman who is looking to achieve simple elegance.
To complement this look add a touch of dynamism by wearing a modish pair of
sunglasses by Al e Ro.
A
polished, chic noir long-sleeve lace shirt by London in Paris would be
brilliantly paired with a python blazer by Vladimiro Gioia that has a distinctive
double zipper.
New Fashion Showroom Project
A recent segment of Assomoda, called Young Designer, is an initiative to promote awareness of young designers' various collections of both apparel and
accessories. During fashion week, the
young designers' work was showcased in Laura Mancini boutique. The designers featured in the boutique include of course, Luara Mancini, Maiden-Art, Guglielmo Musitelli, Blitz Art, Natalia Borotto, Vita Florence, and Studio Atelier di LUCIA PALMA. I absolutely love the concept behind
this project and I think it’s a great way to aid in giving young designers the exposure they crave.
The cocktail was located at the
boutique last night, Visa Marsala 4 Milano. It was
a beautiful event.
The food was prepared directly in the store, by Chef Monzù, Erny Lombardo of the Le Creuset Group. The wine was supplied by Golf and Wine. Both the food and wine were outstanding.
All of the Young Designer's work was on display for all to see.
Excuse the quality of the photos for I forgot my SLR & had to make do with my Iphone. I think that they should suffice though!

Normaluisa
The Normaluisa Fall/Winter 12-13 collection was an eloquent vision
that gleamed of gold and vibrancy.
Distinctive patterns that overlapped with alluring photographic prints. Colors of earth white, off white, vanilla, camel, elephant, mou, framboise, wisteria and noir. A perfect utilization of velvet, satin, floral embroidery, mohair knitwear, and irregular braided cashmere. The unlikeliest blend of colors and fabrics that collectively formed a wonderful combinatorial.
Banghra Bar
I thought this restaurant was full of ambiance. The food was great
too and so modestly priced. I’m pretty excited that it’s not too far from my
apartment!
Outside of Roberto Cavalli
Outside of Cavalli, it was just as much of a show. There were so many
beautiful people wearing fantastic garments.

Frankie Morello
The Frankie Morello Fall/Winter 12-13 collection was edgy, chic,
and fun!
Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti are distinguished for executing memorable, entertaining fashion shows and this year was no exception.
Black leather harmonized brilliantly with vibrant accents of pink, orange, red and metallic gold. Large spiked shoes, jackets, and hats provided an intrepid(look up for bold), edgy quality throughout the collection as did the metallic gold studded jackets (kind of jacket) and dresses. Sequence, fur, and silk provided a softer tone and synchronized well with the bolder elements.
At the end of
the show, each model was wearing a t-shirt that said “I wanna run away with
Frankie Morello”; an exceptional ending to an exceptional collection.
