I leave for London today, waahoo! I am extremely exited. I have been to various airports within London but I never had the opportunity to explore the city. Currently, listening to this song because London is in fact the lovely Ms. Rita Ora's home city. It also makes last minute packing a lot more enjoyable!

During Design week, the fashion house, featured this lovely work of art (as shown below) by Ennio Calabria. The formulation of collaborative efforts between fashion houses and artists is becoming seemingly more common which isn't all the surprising considering both are distinctive forms of art!

Enrico Coveri event: kitchen collection
Enrico Coveri Living collaborates with the brand Aster Cucine and well-known Italian artist, Massimo Sansavini to create this one-of-a-kind , pop-art style kitchen. The focal point of this new kitchen conceptualization is contemporary creativity and a little bit of imagination. You can recognize the signature color usage from past collections of clothing transferred into the new living collection. The design is very clean, simple, and yet entirely au courant.
REPLAY water-free laser wash jeans
Replay is pushing the limitations with this new denim evolution. The distressed appearance is achieved by hand and then later treated with a laser wash. The 'eco-sustainable ozone wash' is an incredibly innovative approach and drastically cuts down on the amount of water used during the process.
Virtually this process will have no negative impact on the environment. So for all of you out there seeking high-quality eco-friendly jeans, now you found them!

Traveling has without a doubt opened my eyes to so many grand new perspectives. There are so many different philosophies, cultures, traditions, foods, religions, and world wonders that I am eager to explore. In the eloquent words of Jawaharial Nehru:
“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.”

Kartell 'Design Rocks' event with Philippe Starck & Lenny Kravitz
Kartell, international renowned brand, collaborates with the acclaimed designer Philippe Starck and the well-known super star Lenny Kravitz.
The rock star and his design team referred to as 'Kravitz Design' produced an exclusive line called 'Mademoiselle'; a collection comprised of six different chairs for Kartell. After the initial vision, Philippe Starck assisted Lenny in the process and shed a new light on the concept of material usage.
I was particularly excited about Lenny's guest appearance as well, primarily because I recently saw the film, The Hunger Games. I felt that his role was incredibly eminent and his performance was exceptional. Not to mention, at the mere age of 10, the song 'Again' was a sure tune you could always catch me humming.
